Topology of industrial control systems: introduction and examples. Computer-based models for industrial processes in time and frequency domains. Digital signal processing. Experimental process identification in open and closed loops (frequency domain approach). Simple control loop. Design of industrial controllers (PI, Smith predictor, etc.). Algoritmization and programming. Autotuners, adaptive controllers, predictive control, expert control. Software products for direct digital control and monitoring.
